Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data AngleScale collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We've kept it in plain language on purpose.

1. Who we are

AngleScale is a brand operated by Growth Optimize SL ("Growth Optimize", "AngleScale", "we", "us"), which runs the website at anglescale.com and provides ad-to-page reviews and related content. We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data.

Controller: Growth Optimize SL
Registered address: Avenida Pineda 2, 08860 Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain
NIF (CIF): B23991748
Commercial registry: Registro Mercantil de Barcelona
Privacy contact: [email protected]

We are established in Spain and serve users in the EU, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and, for UK users, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Data we collect

Information you give us

  • Email address — when you request a review or sign up for updates (collected through our form provider, Formspree).
  • Your store / website URL and quiz answers — such as your approximate monthly ad spend and how many ad angles or creatives you run, so we can assess and tailor your review.
  • Anything else you send us — for example, the content of emails you write to us.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage & device data via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, referring source, approximate location (from IP), device and browser type.
  • Interaction data via Microsoft Clarity — including session recordings, heatmaps, clicks, scrolls and mouse movement on our pages.
  • Advertising data via the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — actions you take on our site, matched by Meta to your account for measurement and ad targeting.

These analytics and advertising tools only run after you give consent through our cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

4. Cookies & tracking

We use a small number of essential cookies plus optional analytics and advertising cookies that only load with your consent. You can accept, reject or change your choice at any time. Full details, including names and durations, are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers ("processors") who help us run AngleScale, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Formspree — form and email capture
  • Google (Google Analytics 4) — website analytics
  • Microsoft (Clarity) — behavioural analytics and session replay
  • Meta Platforms — advertising measurement and targeting
  • Brevo (Sendinblue, EU-based) — our email service provider, for sending the review and product updates and managing unsubscribes
  • Vercel — our hosting provider, which processes data as part of providing the hosting service

We may also disclose data where required by law.

6. International transfers

Some providers above (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Meta, Formspree) are based in or process data in the United States. Where data leaves the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) and, where applicable, the EU–US / UK–US Data Privacy Framework. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguard.

7. How long we keep it

  • Email & review data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and for up to 24 months of inactivity after that.
  • Analytics data: as set in each tool (GA4 retention is set to 14 months).
  • Records we must keep by law (e.g. tax): for the period the law requires.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR / UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (which doesn't affect processing already carried out). To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to a supervisory authority:

9. Marketing emails

When you give us your email and tick the consent box, you're agreeing that we may send you: (1) the review/review you asked for, and (2) updates about AngleScale, including when the product launches. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing us. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails but won't delete data we must keep for legal reasons.

10. Automated decisions

Our on-site quiz scores your answers to estimate "CAC exposure" and tailor what we show you. This is a simple, informational calculation — it has no legal or similarly significant effect on you, and a human reviews your review before we send it.

11. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we only work with providers that do the same. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

12. Children

AngleScale is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, let you know by email or a notice on the site.

14. Contact
